December 2016 XM FireLine renew EN ISO 11611 certificate for flame retardant antistatic fabric Electra from EN ISO 11611:2007 to ISO 11611:2015.
The testing was done at independent international laboratory AITEX (Spain).
According to CEN (European Committee for Standartization) data the new (or amended) standard has the same scope as the superseded standard. On the date stated, the superseded standard ceases to give presumption of conformity with the essential or other requirements of the relevant Union legislation.
EN ISO 11611:2015 specifies minimum basic safety requirements and test methods for protective clothing including hoods, aprons, sleeves, and gaiters that are designed to protect the wearer’s body including head (hoods) and feet (gaiters) and that are to be worn during welding and allied processes with comparable risks.
