According to the Standard UNE-EN ISO 11611:2015, the vertical electric resistance must be greater than 105 Ohm
ISO 11611:2015 specifies minimum basic safety requirements and test methods for protective clothing during welding and allied processes with comparable risks. This type of protective clothing is intended to protect the wearer against spatter (small splashes of molten metal), short contact time with flame, radiant heat from an electric arc used for welding and allied processes.
Gefest flame retardant protective fabric is purposed for professional welders clothing in different areas such as Machinery, Metallurgy, Oil and Gas Pipeline construction, Automotive etc. Satin weave of Gefest is extremely useful in protective overalls, bibs or aprons of welders and other workers letting molten metal drops go off easily from the smooth surface of the fabric.
You can find all the certificates and additional information on the Gefest-420 product page.
