August 2020, AITEX lab (Spain) has tested Poseidon-300 flame-resistant fabric to the new version of the safety standard for Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes. Poseidon-300 certified to EN ISO11612.
According to EN ISO 11612:2015, Poseidon-300 has been successfully tested to the following tests:
- Heat Resistance (ISO 17493:2016) – performance level – PASS

The performance requirements set out in ISO 11612:2015 are applicable to garments which could be worn for a wide range of end uses, where there is a need for clothing with limited flame spread properties and where the user can be exposed to radiant or convective or contact heat or to molten metal splashes.
Poseidon 300 is a high-quality poly-cotton fabric with a high content of cotton, improved by the addition of polyester and antistatic yarn. It is developed for workers of Oil and Gas industries and it suits well both for rig-chiefs jackets and trousers and for oil-pipeline workers uniforms.
