Artex-210 is also suitable for FR bibs and overalls for workers in the oil and gas, chemical and power industries. It provides protection against fire, open flame and electric arc. The inherent thermal protection will not wash out. The fabric is very durable and super abrasion resistant. Other features of Artex-210 include light weight and good breathability, which gives extra comfort to the wearer. Due to the integrated antistatic carbon yarn, Artex prevents the build-up of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and eliminates the possibility of explosions in oil, gas and other industries. Artex-210 has been rigorously tested after 50 wash cycles at 60C in the AITEX (Spain) laboratory. Thanks to the acid-protective finish, it is resistant to accidental contact with specific chemicals but also with water and dirt. Antistatic properties obtained thanks to the construction with the use of antistatic fibers. A special production process ensures color fastness and dimensional stability after washing at 60˚C.
