XM-8011 PRO tape has the ability to withstand up to 50 wash cycles at 75°C, making it durable and long-lasting. It is certified to meet EN 469 and EN 20471 standards, ensuring its high quality and performance.
This tape is ideal for use in FR rainwear, jackets, trousers, and overalls where stitching is not recommended. Its flame retardant properties make it suitable for use in environments with heat and flame hazards.
Please note that XM-8011 PRO is a high tech material and its adhesive properties may vary depending on the type of FR fabric it is applied to. Therefore, we recommend performing an adhesion test on a specific FR garment before using the tape for the first time. Additionally, it is advisable to conduct a test wash of FR garments with the reflective tape applied.
To apply the reflective tape to your FR garment, use a heat press or iron. Dry cleaning is not recommended.
The reflective material used in XM-8011 PRO is a combination of PU+polyester resin with glass micro-lenses embedded in the adhesive layer, placed on a film liner. When light hits these micro-lenses, it is reflected back towards the light source, making the person wearing the tape more visible in the dark.
