Description

7.5 cm (3″) wide Yellow-Silver Flame Resistant Reflective Tape is used for firefighter uniforms in combination with 5 cm (2″) trim.

This reflective material is a textile fabric coated with a layer of resin with numerous glass micro-lenses impregnated into this layer with a special adhesive. Light is reflected from these micro-lenses and bounces back to a car (or other light source), making the person wearing reflective tape more visible in the dark.
