In August 2012 XM Textiles fabrics have been certified as meeting Oeko-Tex Standard 100 class II.
Oeko-Tex stands for an international, uniform testing and certification system for fabric, intermediate products and end products from the textile industry, that is why Oeko-Tex® Certification is very popular in Europe and actually is the base certificate for textile companies trading in Europe.
The label "Confidence in Textiles" that goes with the certification stands for responsible textile production, safety and transparency. It guarantees that the products are free from harmful substances.
Product class II is textiles used close to the skin (underwear, bed linen, T-shorts etc.).
We are proud that our products conform to the strict criteria of the International Oeko-Tex Association confirming that the XMTextiles fabrics are environmental and health friendly.
Certificate is now available for woven fabrics made of 100% cotton and cotton/polyester only, but
at an early date we plan to complete the certificate by flame retardant fabrics and water-oil-acid repellent fabrics.
